Roadtrip 2016 Fall: Vancouver - Yakima - Bend - John Day River - Port Orford - Florence - Seaside - Vancouver

Day 1 - Vancouver to Yakima

And we're off - at light speed - the unknown awaits. Never go into the light.

The roilly skies over the convergence zone await our arrival.

Must be the Pacific North West.

Everyone is out enjoying the sparkly fall sunshine in Fairhaven.

Our portable distortion field is causing a few problems in the space-time continuum. You probably won't notice much wrong, as long as you don't pay much attention.

These folks are the clear winners of the smallest house competition. Maybe the shiniest house too.

Once again, the Air Force is testing its super-secret weather-control system in the desert at Site Exit 11. Funny things happen around here when it rains.

Monsanto has created a genetically-altered, mushroom-based propaganda organism. When it rains, propaganda pops up like mushrooms. It's the only possible explanation for this phenomenon.

Northtown Coffee. Our oasis in Yakima.

mmmMMMMMmmmmMMMMMmmmm coffee.

It's Sunday of a long weekend.(American and Canadian) We were so afraid that we wouldn't get into our favourite Yakima retsaurant, 2nd St Grill, that we reserved weeks ago. It's 8:30pm and it's a ghost town. Seems the rain has chased everyone back to the coast.
